Sentencing to Service (STS) Crew Leader Salary Range: $16.17 to $21.69 per hour; $33,763 to $45,289 per year Work Locations: Positions may occur throughout the state. Job Duties: The Sentencing to Service (STS) program provides a jail reduction component to counties, a restorative justice component to communities and offenders, and a sentencing alternative to the courts. STS Crew Leaders supervise work crews of adults and/or juvenile offenders who are court-ordered into the program. The crews perform a variety of labor-intensive projects for government agencies and non-profit organizations within a structured, supervised setting. Job duties include locating, planning and scheduling work projects. Crew leaders teach, train and demonstrate leadership to crewmembers on the job site. They inspect work, prepare reports, operate and maintain equipment and interact with local and state units of government and non-profit agencies. All crew leaders work directly with the crews so they must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. The scheduling of workdays may vary to accommodate clients and project managers and may include both weekend and evening work. Minimum Qualifications:
